The Great Himalaya Trails is a network of existing treks and trails which together form one of the longest and highest walking trails in the world. Winding beneath the world’s highest peaks and visiting some of the most remote communities on earth, it passes through lush green valleys, arid high plateaus and incredible landscapes– a trademark of Nepal.

My intention was to bring out the stunning beauty of the array of landscapes that you experience when you embark on a trek in the Himalayas through photography and community sharing– dubbed ‘The Teahouse’. In addition to the content already available on the existing site, my intent was to further elevate GHT as a functional source of information about the treks where people can read about trekking regions and routes, and gather real-time/forecasted weather information about a specific route.
